Overview

DeltaVision imaging systems bring high caliber imaging into your lab. Whether you are starting your own lab or expanding an imaging facility, there is a DeltaVision system to suit your needs. DeltaVision systems are engineered to provide uncompromised imaging and visualization of live-cell samples. Our unique illumination pathway minimizes photodamage and increases contrast with a high signal-to-noise ratio. The result is superior raw data and image collection. In addition, each system is fully assembled and tested at our factory prior to shipment. Once you receive your system, it can be reassembled in your lab, allowing you to collect images that same day!

- InsightSSITM

The InsightSSI is a solid state light engine utilizing a variety of light source technologies to optimize the output for each color. The InsightSSI has several key advantages over traditional light sources such as LEDs, arc lamps and lasers which have issues that include instability, limited wavelengths, and generation of unwanted heat, vibration and insufficient intensity. The InsightSSI produces stable monochromatic light with little heat and at low lifetime cost relative to other light sources.

  • Increased power across ALL wavelengths
    - Decreased exposure times

  • Less than 100 ms switching
    - 20x reduction in non-productive cell illumination
    - Increased cell viability
    - Only uses illumination life when the shutter is open
    - Near-simultaneous multi-color live cell imaging

  • Flexible Wavelength Options
    Available in three different options:
    - 4 color for fixed cell imaging
    - 4 color for fluorescent protein imaging
    - 7 colors for flexible fixed and live cell imaging

- UltimateFocusTM

UltimateFocus utilizes a patent pending design to automatically maintain focus keeping the sample in focus regardless of mechanical or thermal changes. The new UltimateFocus is extremely fast and automatically detects the surface of the coverslip to compensate in real-time for stage drift without moving the sample.

  • Automatically maintains focus
    - No adjustments to the focus knob after stage movement or adding reagents
       to the sample

  • Continuous focus correction
    - Minimizes samples exposure and improves cell viability
    - No focus searching - focal plane is maintained in real time
    - Significant speed advantage as compared to other conventional methods

DeltaVision® is a family of fully integrated, optimized microscopy systems designed to look at multiple probes and samples over longer periods of time than other imaging systems. These systems are uniquely suited for 3D and 2D live cell applications. As biological questions increase in complexity and sensitivity, there is a greater need for higher image quality. Improved resolution and contrast yield greater quantitative measurements and therefore more reliable results.
