Host-Pathogen Interactions
Bacteria, viruses and parasites are in their element when they come in contact with the host cell. Studying these interactions has led to advancements in the fields of highly infectious diseases such as HIV, malaria and tuberculosis. Imaging the pathogen infecting a cell requires high-speed hardware and optimized software to generate 3D images but sensitive enough to keep the host cell alive. DeltaVision systems excel in this capability and are used to study a wide variety of microbes and host cell responses in leading institutions worldwide.
