DeltaVision® Core

THE Gold Standard in Live-Cell Microscopy

Applied Precision introduces DeltaVision Core, the newest innovation in the DeltaVision family of live-cell microscopy imaging systems. DeltaVision Core, designed to increase the ability to look at more probes and samples over longer periods of time than any competitive imaging system.

  • Faster Acquisition - Next generation control system for increased performance
  • Long Travel Stage - 25 mm x 50 mm stage for full imaging of chambered slides
  • Long-Life Xenon Light Source - Provides 600 hours of continuous illumination
  • Data Management Solution (DMS) - DMS lab server manages images and metadata
  • Upgradeable - Options include Multiplexed Wavelengths Imaging, environmental control, DMS lab server, stand-alone softWoRx workstation, Cascade EM camera and more

Applied Precision’s proprietary illumination design now features two illumination sources, a Xenon light source to provide 600 hours of continuous illumination for long-term studies required in live-cell imaging and LED transillumination for better light concentration with no mechanical shuttering. Combined with a newly redesigned 10-position excitation filter wheel and 6-position emission filter wheel, DeltaVision Core provides faster multi-channel acquisition for all your imaging needs.

Next generation instrument control built on Applied Precision’s NanoMotion® III technology, provides for the most sophisticated microscope control system built to date. This integrated design enables increased performance, faster acquisition, and increased reliability. Applied Precision’s new stage design (patent pending) offers improved thermal stability with twice the travel while still providing the historical groundbreaking performance of the DeltaVision platform.

As your lab grows, so do your imaging requirements. Each DeltaVision Core system has many outstanding upgrades and options available to enhance your imaging capabilities. These include the live-cell filter set, WeatherStation environmental control, softWoRx Suite analysis software, DMS lab server, the stand-alone softWoRx workstation and Multiplexed Wavelengths Imaging. By incorporating dual-illumination sources, DeltaVision Core offers Multiplexed Wavelengths Imaging optimized for common channel pairs (EGFP/mCherry and CFP/YFP). Combined with software image interleaving and a redesigned high-speed shuttering system, you can image up to 16 image pairs per second with Z moves.
