Q. How can a license be moved to a different computer?

A. Moving the license requires using the Certificate Number that was provided upon purchase. The four steps for moving the license to a different computer are:

  1. Uninstall softWoRx Explorer from the current computer.
  2. Call the Service Hotline at 1-800-862-5166 between the hours of 8AM and 5PM (PST) with the Certificate Number that was supplied at the time of purchase. The Certificate will be reset for use on a different computer.
  3. Download and install the latest version of softWoRx Explorer on the new computer.
  4. Register softWoRx Explorer on the new computer using the Certificate Number.
Q. What customer support is available?

A. Customer support can be obtained through our Service Hotline. Support is only available for issues during installation and for 30 days after download of the software's license key.

Q. What are the hardware and operating systems required for softWoRx Suite?

A. softWoRx Suite runs on Windows XP (SP2 or SP3). The minimum processor speed is 1.8 GHz (2.0+ is recommended). A minimum of 32 MB NVidia compatible graphics card is required (128 recommended). A graphics card driver model from 2007 or later is required. A minimum of 1 GB of system memory is required but the software will operate much faster with the recommended 2 GB. Stacks of images can be quite large. The software loads and manipulates images in horizontal strips so images larger than the allotted memory can be loaded. Approximately 300 MB of hard disk space free is required during the installation. A network card is required in the computer even if the computer is not connected to a network. This is a licensed product and the license is associated with the unique ID in the Ethernet cards. A removable device with a network interface should not be used to license the software unless that device will permanently stay with the computer.

Q. Is there a way to request future features?

A. Report feature enhancement requests, bugs or problems via the web on the softWoRx Explorer feedback page.
